The meeting of the Conference of Rectors of Polish Universities (KRUP) took place on February 18, 2025, at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. The rectors were invited by the Rector of NCU, Professor Andrzej Tretyn, on the occasion of the university's 80th anniversary. The following day, a ceremonial Polish Science Gala was held in Toruń, attended by the Minister of Science and Higher Education, Marcin Kulasek. The Rector of the University of Rzeszów, Professor Adam Reich, represented our Alma Mater during these important academic events.

This year's Polish Science Gala had a special significance due to the 80th anniversary of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. The highlight of the gala was the presentation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education Awards. This year, 150 individuals were honored for their work, which is crucial for the development of Polish scientific thought and education.

The Polish Science Gala was not only a celebration of knowledge but also an opportunity to reflect on the future of Polish science. The ceremony in Toruń demonstrated that this field is dynamically developing, and its representatives are ready for new challenges.
