University of Rzeszów and Bieszczady Border Guard Unit Establish Cooperation

The agreement between the University of Rzeszów and the Bieszczady Border Guard Unit aims to develop cooperation in the fields of science, education, and public safety improvement. The document, signed by Professor Adam Reich, Rector of the University of Rzeszów, and Brig. Gen. SG Tomasz Zybiński, Commander of the Bieszczady Border Guard Unit, paves the way for numerous joint initiatives.

The goal of the agreement is to work together on education, promoting patriotic attitudes, and supporting social prevention in the context of public safety. As part of the cooperation, the University and the Border Guard will undertake a range of activities for both students and Border Guard officers and employees.

The agreement covers a wide range of activities, including supporting scientific initiatives related to national security and the tasks performed by the Border Guard. The Bieszczady Border Guard Unit will actively participate in lectures, presentations, and conferences organized by the University, and will also enable UR students to undertake internships and placements within its units.

The signed agreement also provides for the mutual exchange of information, scientific materials, and publications. As part of the cooperation, the University of Rzeszów has committed to allowing Border Guard officers to use its library resources and e-learning platform, as well as the University's training facilities. In turn, the Border Guard will offer assistance in organizing demonstrations, presentations, and other public safety-related events.

This is an important step in building ties between the academic world and uniformed services. Thanks to this cooperation, students of the University of Rzeszów will gain practical experience in public safety, and Border Guard officers will be able to enhance their competencies through access to the University's educational resources.
