University of Rzeszów joins The Baltic University Programme

In January 2024 the University of Rzeszów joined The Baltic University Programme (BUP), one of the largest university co-operations in the world, with about 100 participating universities in the Baltic Sea Region, co-operating for education and research in Sustainable Development and Democracy.

The Baltic University Programme strives to find novel ways of interaction among universities and between universities and society. Its main aim is to enhance strong regional educational and research communities but also to foster a greater awareness of the focus areas, which include sustainable development, environmental protection, and democracy in the Baltic Sea Region.

Having joined the programme, members of our academic community  - students, doctoral students and researchers - will be able to participate in different university courses, trainings, and conferences, or join multi- and interdisciplinary research co-operations.
