Statutory activities carried out at the Faculty of Physical Culture Sciences in 2023:
Priority tasks
1. Raising the level of physical activity of children and adults as a form of prevention of obesity and lifestyle diseases and their risk factors;
2. Assessment of the motor profile of candidates and soldiers of uniformed services;
3. Assessment of the aerobic exercise capacity of apparently healthy people of working age;
Basic tasks
1. Four dimensions of martial arts: sports, recreational, tourist and rehabilitation;
2. Studies of somatic structure, physical fitness, biomechanical, biochemical and epigenetic parameters during the training cycle of active populations
from various sports groups - optimization of training effectiveness;
3. FTIR spectroscopy in the study of sports groups during the training cycle;
4. Assessment of the impact of strength and coordination exercises on selected aspects of general and special fitness of combat sports athletes;
5. Cut-off points of cardiorespiratory fitness for early detection of current and future cardiovascular risk in children and adolescents aged 10-15 years;
6. Study of postural stability of athletes training in combat sports;
7. Study of the usefulness of various anthropometric measures in assessing cardiorespiratory endurance of school children and adolescents (retrospective study);
