About the Institute
The Institute of Polish Studies and Journalism is a part of the College of Humanities and comprises nine faculties, which are primarily concerned with linguistics and literary studies. The Institute employs eight professors, 24 postdoctoral degree holders, 12 PhD holders, and one MA holder. The Institute offers BA and MA courses, including Polish Studies and Journalism, Social Communication, Logopedics with Teaching Polish as a Foreign Language, and Applied Polish Studies. Our graduates can pursue a PhD degree in either linguistics or literary studies at the University’s Doctoral School. Additionally, the Institute offers postgraduate studies in speech therapy, neurological speech therapy, and teaching Polish as a foreign language. The Institute also conducts certificate examinations in Polish as a foreign language.
