On October 6, 2022, foreign students entering their first year of studies met with the Authorities of the College of Medical Sciences and the employees of the Welcome Center Nowa Przestrzeń Naukowca #KNM, located in building A2, room no. 301, 3rd floor, Al. Kopisto 2A.

The Vice-Rector for the College of Medical Sciences, prof. dr hab. n.med. Artur Mazur  welcomed the students ,  wishing them that the years they will spend  at the Rzeszów university would be a time of many opportunities for them, developing professional qualifications, but also the time of meeting new friends.
Students learnt about the university and the activities of the Welcome Center, all of them received guide on the University of Rzeszów and the city of Rzeszów. In a friendly  atmosphere, foreign students could also ask questions on all topics bothering them.

The meeting was also attended by dr. hab. n. med. inż. Dorota Bartusik-Aebisher and dr hab. n. med. David Aebisher, who came from the USA in 2017 and joined the staff of the College of Medical Sciences, as well as dr hab. n.med. Andrzej Komorowski and dr Oliver Dörner from Winsen Germany.
Small gadgets of the University of Rzeszów were presented to foreign guests to start a good further cooperation with the Welcome To Center.
Until April 2023, the integration meetings with students and staff from abroad will be held periodically on the campus of the University of Rzeszów and in Rzeszów - we will keep the academic community informed about the dates of these meetings
