The first Polish Yeast Conference is being held at the College of Natural Sciences, the University of Rzeszow, on June 22-24. The conference is organized at the initiative of Professor Andrzej Sibirny of the University of Rzeszów and Professor Teresa Żołądek of the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics, the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. The University of Rzeszów is the main organizer of this event.

The conference will provide an excellent opportunity to present the latest research work in yeast metabolism, physiology, genetics, genomics, regulation of intracellular processes as well as biotechnological and clinical applications.
