Researchers from the College of Natural Sciences among the 2% most cited
We are very pleased to announce that once again scientists from the College of Natural Sciences have been included in the list of the 2% of the highest cited researchers, prepared by researchers from Stanford University and Elsevier. The ranking was prepared on the basis of bibliometric data collected for all scientists indexed in the Scopus database and for all scientific disciplines based on a composite index concerning the citation rate of scientific papers, including among others, the Hirsch index and data on co-authorship of papers or the role of the author in the group of co-authors. The following people are ranked for citations throughout their scientific career :

· prof. dr hab. Łukasz Łuczaj (Institute of Biology and Biotechnology)
· dr hab. prof. UR Jan G. Bazan (Institute of Computer Science)
On the other hand, on the list of the most influential people in terms of the citation rate of the scientists for 2022 were:
