We are very pleased to announce that the College of Natural Sciences will be a beneficiary in the project entitled "the University of Rzeszów Welcome - Increasing the Degree of Internationalisation of the University of Rzeszów".

The authors of the project are:

Vice-Rector for the College of Social Sciences – dr hab. Elżbieta Feret, prof. UR

Vice-Rector for the College of Humanities - prof. dr hab. Paweł Grata

The head of the Doctoral School of the University of Rzeszów – dr hab. Maciej Wnuk, prof. UR

and Vice-Rector for Student and Educational Affairs – dr hab. Elżbieta Rokosz, prof. UR who is the substantive supervisor of the project.

The project starts on 1st June 2023 and finishes on 31st May 2023.

The project will be implemented in the College of Humanities, the College of Social Sciences, the College of Natural Sciences and in the Doctoral School of the University of Rzeszów.

The implementation of the project will serve to strengthen the internationalisation of the University of Rzeszów, promote research conducted at the University of Rzeszów, increase the recognition of the University of Rzeszów and scientific research of its employees in an international environment and the growth of interpersonal contacts thanks to the use scientific networking mechanisms.

The project assumes:

· creation of a "Welcome Center" within the central administration whose task will be to serve students, researchers and foreign staff,

· carrying out a number of activities related to internationalisation "at home" consisting in conducting workshops on intercultural communication, translating selected internal

documents, developing a guide in English for foreign and doctoral students and researchers staying at the University of Rzeszów,

· increasing the number of organised international conferences at the University of Rzeszów with the participation of prominent foreign scientists and increasing the participation of young scientists from abroad in organised conferences.

“The University of Rzeszów Welcome” project will raise the position of the University of Rzeszów in the international higher education system through the implementation of an active policy of attracting and serving students, doctoral students and foreign researchers based on mutual tolerance and respect.
