On May 9th, we had the pleasure of hosting representatives of local media at the University of Rzeszów. Rector - Elect, Professor Dr hab. med. Adam Reich, shared visions and plans regarding the development of the University of Rzeszów, which will be implemented during the Rector's term of office from 2024 to 2028.

On April 25th of this year, at the meeting of the Senate of the University of Rzeszów, congratulatory letters and decisions on the awarding of the Minister of Science Scholarships were ceremoniously presented to 18 recipients. An equally significant moment of the Senate meeting was the presentation of the Grand Medal of the University of Rzeszów to Mr. Władysław Ortyl, Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.

We are happy to inform that the National Agency for the Academic Exchange has awarded the College of Medical Sciences, University of Rzeszow with a grant under the CEEPUS Program for the organization of International Summer School “Communication in Medicine”.

On April 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., an electoral assembly was held at the University of Rzeszów. By the decision of 150 eligible Electors, Prof. Dr hab. med. Adam Reich was elected as the new Rector of the University of Rzeszów. The new Rector will begin his term on September 1, 2024.

With pride, we inform that on March 22, 2024, Mr. Dariusz Wieczorek, the Minister of Science, made the decision to award the Minister's scholarship to eighteen students of the University of Rzeszów for significant achievements in the academic year 2023/2024.

Project titled High Throughput Agile Interfaces for Cell Sorting (HiTACS) will be implemented by scientists from the College of Medical Sciences of the University of Rzeszow in cooperation with a research team from the University of Georgia, USA and from the Institute of Physical Chemistry, National Academy of Sciences, Lviv. 

We are pleased to inform you that the project "Identification and monitoring of health and physical parameters of Polish soldiers" has been qualified for funding by the Minister of Science and Higher Education under the "Science for the Society II" program. The amount of funding for the project is 1,158,578.20 PLN.
