Agriculture, Science, and Business – UR and ARiMR Agreement Opens New Opportunities
A significant agreement was signed during a meeting in the office of the Rector of the University of Rzeszów. The signatories included Professor Adam Reich, Rector of UR, and Błażej Borowiec, Director of the Podkarpackie Regional Branch of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture (ARiMR). The meeting was also attended by Adam Dziedzic, Member of the Polish Parliament (Sejm RP).
New Opportunities for Students
The agreement paves the way for closer collaboration. Students of the University of Rzeszów will benefit from an expanded offer of internships and apprenticeships at ARiMR. Existing programs may be further developed, providing students with greater access to expert knowledge, cutting-edge technologies, and real-world challenges faced by the agricultural sector. Additionally, the university and the agency will jointly undertake scientific and research projects, with planned conferences, seminars, and promotional events.
Support for Agriculture
The Director of ARiMR emphasized that the exchange of information and promotional activities will contribute to the development of agriculture in the Podkarpackie region. "Our farmers will gain even more extensive knowledge. I sincerely thank you for this agreement," said Borowiec.
Science for Practical Application
The Rector of UR highlighted the importance of innovation in agriculture. "Most of the patent applications at the University come from agricultural disciplines. We have much to be proud of, and we want to share this knowledge. We count on support to bring our discoveries to life," said Professor Reich.
Knowledge and Experience Hand in Hand
MP Adam Dziedzic underscored the importance of bridging the gap between science and practice. "I am convinced that the implementation of new solutions developed at the University of Rzeszów will find their place at ARiMR. UR students will bring fresh ideas and innovations that will benefit agriculture in Podkarpacie and beyond," he stated.
The signed agreement marks the first step toward long-term cooperation. Both parties emphasize that practical application of knowledge is just as crucial as theoretical insights.
