CEEPUS SUMMER SCHOOL International Summer School at the College of Medical Sciences of the University of Medical Sciences


Between 1-9 July, 2024, as part of the CEEPUS Summer School "Communication in Medicine", the College of Medical Sciences of the University of Rzeszów hosted 15 participants - medical students and academic teachers from the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia, scholarship holders of the CEEPUS NAWA Program.

The Summer School was a unique educational opportunity for future medical staff and researchers in the field of medical and health sciences.

The participants enthusiastically participated in seminars and workshops conducted by employees of the College of Medical Sciences: dr. hab. Agnieszka Banaś-Ząbczyk, dr. Anna Bartosiewicz, dr. Justyna Kosydar-Bochenek, dr. Małgorzata Nagórska. The visit to the Medical Simulation Center, presented to them by dr. Grzegorz Kucaba, Head of the CSM, aroused great interest among the summer school participants, both students and academic teachers. As part of the Summer School, many networking and integration activities were also carried out, as well as a cultural program, which included walks and a trip around Rzeszów in a historic bus "Jelcz Tour", a visit to the "Rzeszów Cellars - Interactive Cultural Institution", participation in concerts, pantomima spectacle, and the premiere show of the Rzeszów multimedia fountain. Thanks to the courtesy of the District Medical Chamber, the participants visited the Lubomirski Summer Palace.

Summer School 2024 at the College of Medical Sciences was an opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills, as well as to exchange experiences and establish prospective international contacts. Participants expressed great interest in organizing joint ventures in the future.

The Project Manager was dr. Małgorzata Nagórska from the Institute of Medical Sciences. The coordinating unit was the Welcome Center "New Scientist Space" operating at the College of Medical Sciences, represented by MSc. Eng. Aneta Radaczyńska.
