Chancellor of the University of Rzeszów participates in the Carpathian Initiative for Ukraine’s Reconstruction
On March 11, 2025, the Chancellor of the University of Rzeszów, Marcin Rusiniak, took part in a meeting within the framework of the Carpathian Initiative for Ukraine’s Reconstruction. This event brought together representatives of academic institutions and public administration, focusing on developing effective regional cooperation models to support Ukraine.
The Carpathian Initiative aims to strengthen cross-border collaboration, emphasizing the exchange of experiences, knowledge transfer, and joint investment and infrastructure projects. The initiative integrates business and academia and is supported by European Union institutions.
Details regarding planned activities within the Carpathian Initiative will be presented at the prestigious Ukraine Recovery Conference, scheduled to take place in early July in Rome. This conference will provide an opportunity to showcase projects aimed at fostering Ukraine’s sustainable development and strengthening international relations in the Carpathian region.
The participation of the University of Rzeszów in such events aligns with its mission, which prioritizes supporting social, scientific, and economic development in the region.
