The agreement was formally signed by the Rector of the University of Rzeszów, Professor Adam Reich and the Rzeszów County Governor, Dr Krzysztof Jarosz. This partnership marks a significant step towards fostering collaboration in the fields of science, education, and regional development.

"I hope that today's meeting will serve as the beginning of a highly productive collaboration across various areas. The University is multidisciplinary, and I believe we can harness this potential effectively through our joint efforts," stated Professor Adam Reich.

The primary objective of the agreement is to support both institutions in fulfilling their statutory and institutional mandates. The scope of the collaboration encompasses a range of scientific, educational, and social initiatives. The region stands to benefit greatly from this partnership through the implementation of new research and development projects.

A key component of the agreement involves promoting the activities of the University of Rzeszów. Both institutions will work together to disseminate research findings and organize academic and community events. Planned initiatives include conferences, seminars, and training sessions designed for students and local residents. The University will also provide access to its laboratories and expert resources for projects undertaken by the Rzeszów County.

Furthermore, the agreement stipulates the exchange of scientific and informational materials. The University of Rzeszów will have the opportunity to consult its academic programs with relevant administrative units of the Rzeszów County to ensure alignment with labor market needs.

This agreement represents a new dimension of collaboration between academia and local government. The initiatives launched by the University of Rzeszów and the Rzeszów County aim to deliver tangible benefits for the entire region.

"There are numerous areas where we can collaborate, including economics, law, security, and tourism. Our goal is for this partnership to translate into an enhanced quality of life for the 200,000 residents of Rzeszów County," emphasized Dr Krzysztof Jarosz.
