Presentation of the Grand Medal of the University of Rzeszów to the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship and the Minister of Science Scholarships to Students

On April 25th of this year, at the meeting of the Senate of the University of Rzeszów, congratulatory letters and decisions on the awarding of the Minister of Science Scholarships were ceremoniously presented to 18 recipients. An equally significant moment of the Senate meeting was the presentation of the Grand Medal of the University of Rzeszów to Mr. Władysław Ortyl, Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.

By decision of the Senate of the University of Rzeszów, the Grand Medal of the University of Rzeszów was awarded to Mr. Władysław Ortyl, Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, for his activities and contributions to the development of our university. The Grand Medal of the University of Rzeszów was presented by the Rector of the University of Rzeszów, Professor Dr hab. Sylwester Czopek, and Professor Dr hab. med. Adam Reich, Rector-Elect.

Members of the Voivodeship Board also attended the Senate meeting, including Deputy Marshal Piotr Pilch, Anna Huk, and Stanisław Kruczek.

Presentation of the Minister of Science Scholarship Awards and Congratulatory Letters to Students of the University of Rzeszów

On March 22, 2024, Mr. Dariusz Wieczorek, Minister of Science, decided to award scholarships to eighteen students of the University of Rzeszów for significant achievements for the academic year 2023/2024.

- Edyta Agnieszka Kościelska - Finance and Accounting

- Andżelika Agnieszka Partyka - Finance and Accounting

Out of 1,048 applications meeting the conditions for the scholarship, the Minister of Science, Dariusz Wieczorek, awarded scholarships to a total of 386 students whose applications were positively recommended.

The ministerial scholarship is paid out in a single instalment, and its amount is 17,000 PLN. The university disburses the scholarship to the student within 14 days of the funds being credited to its bank account.
