Rector of the University of Rzeszów meets with representatives of the government and parliamentary administration

Since the beginning of his term, the Rector of the University of Rzeszów has been actively conducting dialogue with representatives of various political groups. Meetings are an important element of the university's cooperation with the external environment, aimed at building relationships supporting the development of science, education and the economy of the region. Since September 2024, the Rector's office has hosted, among others: MP Zdzisław Gawlik, MEP Elżbieta Łukacijewska, President of the National Cooperative Council Mieczysław Grodzki, PhD. Eng., MP Ewa Leniart, PhD, Starosta of the Przemyśl district Bożena Ryczan, MP Elżbieta Burkiewicz, MP Joanna Frydrych, MP Krzysztof Sobolewski, Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic Marek Osak, MP Adam Dziedzic, Deputy Mayor of the City of Rzeszów Krystyna Stachowska.
During the talks, key topics regarding the future of higher education, as well as the role of the University in social and economic life, are discussed. During the meetings, topics related to, among others, opportunities to support new research projects, develop academic infrastructure, student needs and adapt the educational offer to the changing labor market.
The Rector of the University of Rzeszów emphasizes that the University should be a place open to dialogue and cooperation, regardless of political divisions. Meetings with representatives of local government, government and parliamentary administration are an opportunity to present the challenges facing the University and find common solutions that can contribute to the further development of the region and its inhabitants.
Such initiatives show that the University of Rzeszów actively participates in public and economic life. Thanks to cooperation with various environments, our Alma Mater strengthens its position as a key academic center, open to the challenges of modern times.
