With pleasure, we announce that the College of Social Sciences and the College of Natural Sciences at the University of Rzeszów have been qualified for funding in the first edition of the Regional Excellence Initiative (Regionalna inicjatywa doskonałości (RID) program, which will be implemented from 2024 to 2027.

The total funding amount for the projects is PLN 34,172,501.00.

The project titled 'Migrants from Ukraine in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. Social and Economic Implications' led by Dr Hab. Krzysztof Żarna, Professor at the University of Rzeszów and Director of the Institute of Political Science, has been qualified for funding in the amount of PLN 17,172,501.00.

Additionally, the project of the College of Natural Sciences titled 'Excellent Podkarpacie – Comprehensive Environmental Studies at the University of Rzeszów for the Region,' under the leadership of Prof. Dr Hab. Idalia Kasprzyk, Vice-Rector for the College of Natural Sciences, has been qualified for funding in the amount of PLN 17,000,000.00.
