The highest funding in the history of the University of Rzeszów for the R+D project of prof. Anna Czerniecka-Kubicka
We are very pleased to announce that prof. Anna Czerniecka-Kubicka (Director of the Natural and Medical Centre for Innovative Research and Head of the Laboratory of Drug Form Technology and Medical Physics at the Faculty of Medicine, Collegium Medicum) has obtained a research and development grant in the amount of PLN 14,247,552.50.
Project no.: KPOD.07.07-IW.07-0142/24 entitled "Cytisine in the development path of a new prolonged-release medicinal product in the treatment of nicotine addiction" received a high ranking place in the competition for scientific units for the implementation of applied research in the biomedical area (2024/ABM/03/KPO) under the National Plan for Reconstruction and Increasing Immunity (KPO), Component D Efficiency, availability and quality of the health care system, Investment D3.1.1 Comprehensive development of research in the field of medical and health sciences.
After conducting a formal and substantive assessment, out of 224 submitted applications, a recommendation for support was received by 57 projects, for a total amount of PLN 446,529,261.37. Funding was granted to projects that were highly rated by substantive experts for at least 41 points while meeting the access criterion. The maximum number of points to be obtained by the applicant in accordance with the competition rules was 50.
