The University Hospital, managed by the University of Rzeszów, will receive PLN 300 million from the Medical Fund

The Minister of Health has made decisions regarding the allocation of funds from the Medical Fund as part of a competition. The University Clinical Hospital named after Fryderyk Chopin in Rzeszów, managed by the University of Rzeszów, will receive PLN 300,000,000. The funds will be allocated for the implementation of the project "Expansion of the University Clinical Hospital named after Fryderyk Chopin in Rzeszów in the field of oncology" in Świlcza.

This is a historic moment for the University of Rzeszów and the entire Podkarpacie region.

"It's a great moment for the University of Rzeszów and the entire region. We dreamed of a University Hospital a few years ago, and it took some time before we managed to develop a platform for cooperation, which today we articulate as our University Hospital. Let's rejoice that we have the first instalment of a great investment, which will undoubtedly serve patients through the quality of treatment but at the same time will serve scientific research in the field of medicine and the education of students," said the Rector of the University of Rzeszów.

The beneficiaries of the competition were two medical facilities in Podkarpacie: the University Clinical Hospital named after Fryderyk Chopin in Rzeszów and the Specialist Hospital in Brzozów.
