VI Congress of the Polish Universities Forum
On Jan 17-19 in Rzeszów the 6th Congress of the Forum of Polish Universities (FPU) took place. The proceedings at the University of Rzeszów in the Senate Hall were ceremoniously opened by 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐜𝐡, Rector of the University of Rzeszów and Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐤𝐚.
FPU is one of the committees of the Students' Parliaments of the Republic of Poland, which brings together the student community of universities in Poland. Its goal is to work for the benefit of local communities. It is primarily a group of local government officials for whom the most important thing is creating space for exchanging experiences, thoughts, continuous development and cooperation.
The convention in Rzeszów had a reporting and election character. The new Chairman of the Forum of Polish Universities is 𝐇𝐞𝐲𝐛𝐚𝐭 𝐍𝐚𝐠𝐡𝐢𝐲𝐞𝐯 - University of Warsaw.
The 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐳𝐲𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦 also includes:
- Vice-President for Social and Living Affairs – 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐨𝐬𝐳 𝐆𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐳 - University of Rzeszów
- Vice-President for Coordination of Congresses and Trainings – 𝐊𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐳𝐜𝐳𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐤 - John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin II
- Vice-Chairman for Projects 𝐇𝐮𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐰𝐢𝐧 - University of Wrocław
- Secretary of the Presidium 𝐉𝐚𝐤𝐮𝐛 𝐊𝐢𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐬 - Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz
- The Presidium also includes 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐙𝐰𝐨𝐥𝐢ń𝐬𝐤𝐚 - Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw as the Proxy for Promotion

Part of the congress was dedicated to training. 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐮𝐬𝐳 Ś𝐥𝐢𝐰𝐚 talked about how to effectively prepare a scientific conference. 𝐃𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐜ał led workshops on public speaking, 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐃𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐤 presented techniques on how to effectively run social media for local government, and 𝐉𝐚𝐧 𝐖𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐚 shared his knowledge on the quality of education.
