28 female graduates and 1 male graduate of the electroradiology program received their bachelor's degrees, marking the completion of their first-cycle studies.

Once again, the regional government has awarded grants to universities in the Podkarpackie region. This year, higher education institutions received a total of 1.7 million PLN from the regional budget to support investment purchases.

On June 27 of this year, the final session of the Senate of the University of Rzeszów under the Rector's term (2020-2024), Prof. Dr hab. Sylwester Czopek, took place. During this session, the Senate passed nine resolutions related to education.

On June 26, the University of Rzeszów had the honour of hosting an exceptional scientist, Nobel laureate, and pioneer in the field of cell biology and biochemistry. This was the first visit of a Nobel laureate to the University of Rzeszów.

We are pleased to announce that the City Council of Truskavets has honoured Prof. Dr hab. Sylwester Czopek, Rector of the University of Rzeszów, for his achievements in the field of education and science, as well as for initiating the cooperation agreement with the City of Rzeszów.

On June 7th, the University of Rzeszów held a ceremony for the promotion of doctoral and habilitation degrees. The Rector of the University of Rzeszów presented awards to individuals who have significantly contributed to the academic community. Since the last promotion ceremony six months ago, 18 individuals have obtained doctoral degrees and 14 have obtained habilitation degrees.

On June 7th, Professor Dr hab. med. Adam Reich, Rector-elect of the University of Rzeszów, along with Professor Dr hab. Sabina Grabowska, Vice-Rector-elect for Student Affairs and Education, met with individuals who will assume the roles of Deans at the University of Rzeszów starting this September.

The Rector of the University of Rzeszów, Professor Sylwester Czopek, received the Signum Universitatis Medal awarded by the Rector of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.

On May 20th at the University of Rzeszów, Professor Dr hab. med. Adam Reich, Rector-Elect of the University of Rzeszów, met with the Vice-Rectors for the 2024-2028 term. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss plans and strategies for the future functioning of the university.

On May 14th at 1:00 PM in the Senate Hall of the University of Rzeszów, the Rector of the University of Rzeszów, Professor Sylwester Czopek, signed a letter of intent regarding the cooperation between UNHCR and the University of Rzeszów.

On May 9th, we had the pleasure of hosting representatives of local media at the University of Rzeszów. Rector - Elect, Professor Dr hab. med. Adam Reich, shared visions and plans regarding the development of the University of Rzeszów, which will be implemented during the Rector's term of office from 2024 to 2028.

On April 25th of this year, at the meeting of the Senate of the University of Rzeszów, congratulatory letters and decisions on the awarding of the Minister of Science Scholarships were ceremoniously presented to 18 recipients. An equally significant moment of the Senate meeting was the presentation of the Grand Medal of the University of Rzeszów to Mr. Władysław Ortyl, Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.

We are happy to inform that the National Agency for the Academic Exchange has awarded the College of Medical Sciences, University of Rzeszow with a grant under the CEEPUS Program for the organization of International Summer School “Communication in Medicine”.
