Trip Summary: Students Explore Kraków and Wieliczka
On November 16-17, 2024, 82 Erasmus+ students had an amazing time exploring some of Poland's most iconic sites. This free tour was a fantastic chance to dive into the rich culture and history of Kraków and the stunning Wieliczka Salt Mine.
The trip started with a powerful and educational visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. Then, the students checked out Kraków's famous landmarks like the Barbican, Florian’s Gate, Cloth Hall, and St. Mary’s Church. They also visited the majestic Wawel Royal Castle, soaking in the grandeur of Poland's royal past. The highlight was the Wieliczka Salt Mine, with its incredible salt sculptures and underground chapels.
This trip was not just about sightseeing; it was a great way for students to bond and learn together while experiencing Poland's rich heritage.
