We are pleased to inform that Dr. Ewelina Bator is a coauthor of the manuscript entitled "The Activity of 1,8-Dihydroanthraquinone Derivatives in Nervous System Cancers", published in the Molecules (IF 4.2 and 140 points according to the ministerial list of scored journals). The review paper was prepared by scientists from: the Medical University of Lublin, the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów, and the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. The prepared publication analyzes the latest reports on the anticancer properties of 1,8-dihydroanthraquinone derivatives - such as emodin, aloe-emodin, hypericin, chrysophanol, rhein, and physcion. The compounds were analyzed both individually and in combination with chemotherapeutics, using in vitro and in vivo models of nervous system tumors. These studies demonstrate the effective action of 1,8-Dihydroanthraquinone Derivatives toward nervous system cancer and suggest the potential use of these derivatives in the development of new oncological therapies.
