Scientists from the University of Rzeszów and Rzeszów University of Technology have developed a technology that can increase the efficiency of photovoltaic panels

The coating extending the operation of photovoltaic panels has been developed by scientists from the Subcarpathian universities.

The project received nearly PLN 200,000 in funding under the grant programme of the Subcarpathian Innovation Center. With each month, the demand for high-performance, cheap and widely available systems producing electricity with full care for environmental protection is growing. In recent years, the most popular form of such a system are photovoltaic cells mounted both on single-family houses, public buildings as well as in the form of photovoltaic farms.

The leader of the scientific team on behalf of the University of Rzeszów is Małgorzata Pociask-Biały, prof. PHD. DSc. from the Institute of Materials Science and Engineering of College of Natural Sciences.
