About the Faculty
The Faculty of Law and Administration was one of twelve faculties at the University of Rzeszów. Its history begins with the establishment, by the Decree of the Minister of Education and Higher Education of 18 April 1969, of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University Branch in Rzeszów. At that time, a 3-year Vocational Administrative College was established, which marked the beginning of full-time university studies in administration in the south-eastern part of Poland. From 1972, 2-year supplementary master's studies were already in operation in this field, while full-time master's studies in law were launched in 1980. Before the incorporation of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University Branch in Rzeszów into the structure of the University of Rzeszów, students were educated in the field of law, in the full-time and part-time system, and in the field of administration in the part-time system.
