Partnership
The development strategy of the Faculty of Fine Arts includes broadly understood cooperation with internal and external partners. The list of external stakeholders includes entities with which cooperation is at a satisfactory level. Depending on the specifics of individual departments, cooperation is implemented in the form of appropriate initiatives (projects, internships for students, professional internships, exhibitions, competitions, plein-airs, workshops, thematic meetings, training).
For many years, the Faculty of Fine Arts has been entering into agreements with external stakeholders. In these agreements, the parties undertake to cooperate in the scope of the teaching process implemented by the faculty. The most important elements of cooperation include: issuing opinions on study programs, including the objectives and effects of education and study plans in the context of the requirements of the labor market; organizing and supervising internships covered by the study program according to the applicable rules; undertaking joint implementation of projects and scientific and research works; cooperation in the scope of monitoring the professional careers of graduates, by providing information on their employment by the partner or other entities thereof; systematic contact with the faculty authorities, in the form of thematic meetings on the creation of new and improvement of educational programs conducted by the institute; increasing students' chances to start a professional career.
Over the years, the Faculty of Fine Arts has been cooperating with the socio-economic environment. It has been intensifying its activities towards cooperation with stakeholders from various environments. The first group is cultural institutions, academic and scientific centers. The second group is local government institutions. The third group is private companies and enterprises, where students carry out professional internships, and employees carry out scientific projects. Foundations and associations play a major role in this area. As part of these activities, scientific research is carried out by faculty staff and students, thematic workshops, shows, open-air events and conferences, charity auctions, activities related to supporting people with disabilities, volunteering, completion of diploma theses, expanding the thematic scope of subjects with the knowledge and skills of specialists from a selected industry.
