Night of Biologists – Heated… Defeated?

Faculty of Biology and Nature Protection organized the event as part of a nationwide initiative, with this year's theme: "The Biology of Climate Change: Heated ... Defeated?"
Participants in the "Night of Biologists" included high school and elementary school students, younger children accompanied by their parents, and other enthusiasts. The event provided a unique opportunity to meet scientists not only in lecture halls but also in laboratories, where attendees could conduct experiments, perform microscopic observations, explore plants and animals up close, and have their pressing questions answered. They could even engage in nature-themed games.
This year, the participants learned about climate action and the effects of global warming on life below water and life on land.
The "Night of Biologists" served as an excellent platform for promoting awareness of sustainable development, fostering education, and encouraging intergenerational collaboration to understand and address environmental challenges.
