Record-Breaking R&D Funding Agreement Signed
We are pleased to announce that Rector of the University of Rzeszów, Professor Adam Reich has signed an agreement securing record-breaking funding for the R&D project titled "Cytisine in the Development Pathway of a New Extended-Release Medicinal Product for Nicotine Dependence Therapy."
The awarded funding amounts to PLN 14,247,552.50, with the project ranking 11th out of 224 submitted proposals in a competitive grant call organized by the Medical Research Agency. This initiative supports scientific institutions conducting applied biomedical research under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO), Component D: Efficiency, Accessibility, and Quality of the Healthcare System, Investment D3.1.1: Comprehensive Development of Research in Medical and Health Sciences.
The project is led by Dr Anna Czerniecka-Kubicka, MD, PhD, Professor of the University of Rzeszów, Director of the Natural and Medical Center for Innovative Research (Faculty of Medicine, Medical College).
The initiative is supported by the Development and Infrastructure Projects Department, under the leadership of Associate Professor Józef Cebulski – Vice-Rector for Finance and Development.
