The 17th International Holocaust Remembrance Day will be held in Podkarpacie on Jan 20-30, 2025. It is organized by the Institute of History of the University of Rzeszów and the Institute of National Remembrance, Rzeszów Branch. The honorary patronage over it is assumed by the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship and the President of the City of Rzeszów.

As a part of celebrations, the 2nd International Conference will be held on Jan 27, 2025 at the University of Rzeszów: "Holocaust and After the Holocaust from a Local Perspective". Its participants will include, among others, guests of the celebrations, descendants of Holocaust survivors: Sally Mizroch (USA), Cila, Eran and Ofir Yahalon (Israel), Paul Shapiro (USA), Nina and Mark Talbot (USA), Tamar and Szmuel Halpern (Israel).
