Opis tematu badawczego / Description of the research topic	Współczesne państwa nie są monoetniczne. W większości z nich występują mniejsze bądź większe mniejszości etniczne/regionalne/językowe, którym przysługuje ochrona prawna. Jej zakres i faktyczna realizacja różni się w zależności od państwa i chronionej grupy. Celem pracy doktorskiej może być ustalenie tego zakresu i jego przesłanek oraz jego porównanie z normami prawa międzynarodowego lub z zakresem ochrony innych mniejszościowych grup etnicznych w innych państwach.	Modern states are not mono-ethnic. Most of them have smaller or larger ethnic/regional/linguistic minorities that are entitled to legal protection. Its scope and actual implementation varies from state to state and from protected group to protected group. The aim of a doctoral thesis may be to establish this scope and its rationale, and to compare it with international law standards or with the scope of protection of other ethnic minority groups in other states.

Oczekiwane kompetencje/umiejętności od kandydata na doktoranta / Expected competences/skills from the candidate for a PhD student	Doktorant powinien posiadać elementarne doświadczenie w badaniach grup etnicznych/grup mniejszościowych oraz dysponować kompetencjami językowymi w zakresie języka grupy dominującej i/lub mniejszościowej.	The doctoral student should have elementary experience in ethnic/minority group research and be linguistically competent in the language of the dominant and/or minority group.
