Opis tematu badawczego / Description of the research topic	Temat badawczy obejmuje epigenetyczne uwarunkowania reumatoidalnego zapalenia stawów oraz innych chorób o podłożu autoimmunologicznym (łuszczycowego zapalenia stawów, tocznia rumieniowatego układowego, zespołu Sjogrena, twardziny układowej). Ukierunkowany jest na ocenę metylacji genów, których produkty uczestniczą w patogenezie chorób reumatycznych, ocenę micro-RNA, małych interferujących RNA (siRNA), długich niekodujących RNA (lncRNA), kolistych RNA (circRNA) oraz innych niekodujących RNA. Wyniki badań będą oceniane w kontekście stosowanego leczenia, z analizą poszczególnych rodzajów terapii oraz związku z jakością życia. Celem jest znalezienie nowych markerów badanych chorób, markerów aktywności tych chorób oraz czynników predykcyjnych dobrej lub złej odpowiedzi na stosowane leczenie. Składową dodatkową prowadzonych badań będzie także poddanie analizie jakości życia chorych, co we współczesnym podejściu do terapii jest coraz ważniejsze. Kontekstem będą także uznane wykładniki aktywności chorób lub odpowiedzi na leczenie, takimi jak DAS28, SLEDAI, ESSDAI)	The research topic includes epigenetic determinants of rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune diseases (psoriatic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjogren's syndrome, systemic sclerosis). It is aimed at assessing the methylation of genes whose products participate in the pathogenesis of rheumatic diseases, assessing micro-RNA, small interfering RNA (siRNA), long non-coding RNA (lncRNA), circular RNA (circRNA) and other non-coding RNA. The study results will be assessed in the context of the treatment used, with an analysis of specific types of therapy and the relationship with quality of life. The goal is to find new markers of the diseases being studied, markers of the activity of these diseases and factors predicting good or bad response to the treatment. An additional component of the research will also be to analyze the quality of life of patients, which is increasingly important in the modern approach to therapy. The context will also include recognized markers of disease activity or response to treatment, such as DAS28, SLEDAI, ESSDAI)

He should be familiar with the issues of modern therapy with disease-modifying drugs (including biological drugs from the group of TNFα, IL-6, IL-17A blockers, and synthetic targeted drugs from the group of Janus kinase inhibitors)
