Anna Pommere

Urodziłam się w Rydze na Łotwie.
W latach 1996-2002 studiowałam na Wydziale Filozofii Uniwersytetu Łotewskiego i uzyskałam tytuł licencjata i magistra filozofii.
W latach 1996-2002 studiowałam w Międzynarodowej Wyższej Szkole Psychologii Stosowanej na Łotwie i uzyskałam tytuł licencjata w dziedzinie grafiki komputerowej.  
W 2012 r. rozpoczęłam, a w 2018 r. ukończyłem Łotewską Akademię Sztuki na Wydziale Malarstwa, uzyskując tytuł licencjata i magistra.  
W latach 2021-2024 studiowałam na Professional Doctorate of the Art Academy of Latvia, broniąc teoretycznych badań na temat „Pamięć jako technika samoidentyfikacji w sztukach wizualnych”. Wystawa „Buckweat Honey” w Žanis Lipke Memorial w Rydze była praktyczną twórczą częścią tych badań.

Od 2018 roku pracuję w Łotewskiej Akademii Sztuki jako nauczycielka malarstwa i kompozycji.

I was born in Riga, Latvia.
In 1996 - 2002 I studied at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Latvia and received bachelor's and master's degrees in philosophy.
In 1996 - 2002 I studied at the International Higher School of Applied Psychology in Latvia and received a professional bachelor's degree in computer graphics.
In 2012 I entered and in 2018 graduated from the Art Academy of Latvia, Faculty of Painting, receiving a bachelor's and master's degrees.
In 2021-2024 I studied at the Professional Doctorate of the Art Academy of Latvia, having defended a theoretical research on the topic “Memory as a Technique of Self - Identification in the Visual Arts”. The exhibition "Buckweat Honey" in Žanis Lipke Memorial in Riga was a practical creative part of this research.  

 Since 2018  I am working at the Art Academy of Latvia as a teacher of painting and composition.
