Elżbieta Wasiuczyńska
ilustratorka, projektantka, malarka, urodzona w 1966 roku.
Absolwentka krakowskiej ASP na wydziałach Malarstwa i Grafiki. Ma w dorobku ponad pięćdziesiąt książek zilustrowanych dla najmłodszych.  Część z nich ma również wydania niemieckie, włoskie, słowackie i chińskie. Zilustrowane przez nią książki są na liście Skarbów Muzeum Książki Dziecięcej. Otrzymała wyróżnienia i nagrody Książka Roku IBBY i Bestseller Empiku. Za ilustracje otrzymała też wyróżnienia i nagrody w konkursach w Niemczech i Japonii.   Najpopularniejsze ilustracje pochodzą z cyklu o Panu Kuleczce, z książek Wojciecha Widłaka.

 Elżbieta Wasiuczyńska
An illustrator, designer, and painter, born in 1966. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, the Faculties of Painting and Graphics. She has illustrated over fifty books for the young. Some of those books have also German, Italian, Slovakian and Chinese editions. The books illustrated by her are on the list of Treasures of the Children's Book Museum. She has received IBBY Book of the Year and Empik Bestseller awards. She has also received distinctions and awards for her illustrations in competitions in Germany and Japan. Her most popular illustrations come from the series about Pan Kuleczka, from the books by Wojciech Widłak.

HOW IS IT DONE?
The presentation is the Author’s commentary on the photographs documenting the stages of creating illustrations for children’s books. Painting techniques, inspiration, sketches, transformations of an idea, and subsequent stages, step-bystep, layers applied. Working with fabric and creating spatial paper cut-outs.
