Ordinance of the Rector of the University of Rzeszów

On preventing the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus

Based on Article. 23 clause 1 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 85) in connection with the Act of 2 March 2020 on special solutions related to prevention, prevention and combating COVID-19, other contagious diseases and crisis situations caused by them (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 374), the following is ordered:

The following rules are introduced for preventing and preventing the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus among members of the academic community of the University of Rzeszów:

§ 1

Domestic and foreign business trips and participation in national conferences are suspended
and foreign employees, doctoral students and students of the University of Rzeszów.
Arrivals of foreign guests to the University of Rzeszów are definitely suspended.
All events, conferences, events, etc. are canceled. internal and external organized
at the University of Rzeszów (including: DLU, MUR, DUT, UTW) and on its premises.

A 14-day quarantine applies to everyone who is at risk.
In individual cases, decisions are made by the Rector of the University of Rzeszów.

§ 2

Didactic classes on all forms of education for students are being canceled and PhD students at the University of Rzeszów. Legitimate exceptions are possible with the consent of the Rector of the University of Rzeszów.
The manner and date of working out the canceled classes will be determined and made public as soon as possible. In certain cases, during the term of this ordinance, it is possible to conduct e-learning classes.

§ 3

The admission of new people to student housing at the University of Rzeszów is suspended, as well as the ban on visiting external guests.
All persons who have such an opportunity should leave student housing for the duration of this ordinance.The University of Rzeszów will make every effort to minimize the adverse effects of the situation.

§ 4

An obligation is introduced to limit the direct contact of employees to the maximum.
For business communication, use of available ICT solutions.
In cases not covered by this ordinance, decisions are taken only by the Rector of the University of Rzeszów.

§ 5

This ordinance does not affect the work of the administration of the University of Rzeszów.
All members of the academic community of the University of Rzeszów are obliged to immediately inform the relevant services about suspected SARS-CoV-2 virus.
The ordinance shall enter into force on March 11, 2020 from 12:00 and valid until further notice.
