Invitation to participate in an international survey of historical museums
We would like to invite students from Poland and other European countries (e.g.
Erasmus+ participants) to participate in an NCN study (principal investigator Zofia
Wóycicka, PhD, Warsaw University) on the perception of contemporary historical
museums by Generation Z. The study will cover three museums - in Krakow (students from
Krakow) in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship (students from Rzeszow) and in Berlin (students
from Berlin). The survey will provide an opportunity to get to know an interesting exhibition
and to reflect together on its strengths and weaknesses.
How will it look like?
1) short online interview | 30 min, end of April/beginning of May,
2) free entrance to the exhibition,
with joint discussion after the visit will be conducted, three persons at a time | one day,
second half of May,
3) online meeting for all one month after the visit | online, 60 min.
Students will be paid 200 PLN gross for participation in the study.
Remember, the research will be confidential and will be used in scientific publications.
We would also be grateful if you could disseminate the information to other students who
could participate in the project.
All interested people and those who have any questions are welcome to contact

- for the 2nd-5th or 2nd-3rd and 2nd year years of the 2nd degree - if the size of the groups and the premises make it possible to maintain the sanitary regime, with the exception of lecture groups exceeding 50 people. (in this case, the remote form).
in a remote form:
- classes for which achieving the assumed learning outcomes is possible with the use of distance learning methods and tools, both in a synchronous and asynchronous form,
- classes that, for logistical reasons, cannot take place under the sanitary regime.
- The detailed mode of conducting individual classes in specific fields of study will be determined by the Dean of a given College, after consultation with the Head of the Department.
- PE classes will be carried out in a traditional form, taking into account restrictions related to compliance with the sanitary regime. At the request of the student or the teacher, after approval by the Director of the Physical Education and Recreation Center, classes can be carried out remotely.
- University-wide classes will be conducted only remotely.
- Classes carried out remotely may take place in a synchronous mode (with the possibility of direct audio-video contact) and in asynchronous mode (based on e-courses).
- Classes at part-time studies, at the Doctoral School, at doctoral and postgraduate studies will be planned in such a way as to ensure the conditions provided for by the GIS and Ministry of Science and Higher Education guidelines, enabling compliance with the sanitary regime.
- Duty hours of the instructors are planned both in traditional and remote form.
- Work placements:
- will be implemented in accordance with the study program,
- if the internship cannot be carried out for reasons beyond the student's control, the internship may be carried out at a later date,
- it is allowed to implement the learning outcomes assigned to internships in an alternative way, for example by carrying out exercises, project or simulation.
- Dormitories - accommodation in UR Student Dormitories is possible. Those interested will be accommodated individually, regardless of the nominal purpose of the room. It is allowed to accommodate two people in a room, provided that the people living together submit a declaration of risk awareness. Details on the conditions of residence in the dormitories are available at - https://ur.edu.pl/student/stypendia-domy-studenta-kredyty-studenckie-ubezpie/domy-studenta/domy-studenta-uni Uniwersytet-rzeszowskiego
JUSTIFIED EXCEPTIONS:
- Verification of learning outcomes is possible, in justified cases, in direct contact, while maintaining the sanitary regime, regardless of the form of classes.
- Credits and examinations as well as diploma examinations may be held in a traditional form (direct contact), taking into account the conditions resulting from the current epidemic situation.
We hope that the presented principles will help us to function efficiently in this difficult academic year for all of us, and that we will soon return to the traditional model of studying.
