Niezmiernie miło jest nam poinformować, że Pani dr Ewelina Golec, realizująca pracę doktorską pod kierunkiem Pani prof. Anny Blom, została laureatką nagrody Anny-Grety Crafoord za najlepszą pracę doktorską przyznawaną przez Towarzystwo Medyczne w Lund.

Nagroda w wysokości 25.000 SEK zostanie jej wręczona 13 kwietnia.

Dr Ewelina Golec jest nagradzana za swoją pracę doktorską dotyczącą tego, jak różne białka wewnątrzkomórkowe są zaangażowane w wydzielanie insuliny i przetrwanie komórek beta produkujących insulinę. Dr Ewelina Golec  wykazała że białka układu dopełniacza mają również ważną funkcję wewnątrzkomórkową w komórkach beta trzustki.

Biotechnology graduate Dr. Ewelinie Golec has been awarded the Anna-Greta Crafoord prize for the best thesis by the Society of Medicine in Lund.  

We are extremely pleased to announce that Ms. Dr. Ewelinie Golec pursuing her doctoral dissertation under the supervision of Prof. Anna Blom has been awarded the Anna-Greta Crafoord Prize for the best dissertation awarded by the Society of Medicine in Lund

The award of SEK 25,000 will be presented to her on April 13.

Dr. Ewelina Golec is being awarded for her dissertation on how various intracellular proteins are involved in insulin secretion and the survival of insulin-producing beta cells. Dr. Ewelina Golec showed that proteins of the complement system also have an important intracellular function in pancreatic beta cells.
