Pani mgr inż. Gabriela Betlej otrzymała grant konferencyjny finansowany w ramach wspólnego programu Europejskiego Laboratorium Biologii Molekularnej (EMBL) oraz EMBO. Głównym celem programu jest pomoc młodym naukowcom w rozwijaniu ich badań, promowaniu wymiany informacji naukowej oraz budowaniu środowiska badawczego, w którym naukowcy mogą osiągać najlepsze rezultaty.

Pani mgr inż. Gabriela Betlej w ramach otrzymanego grantu weźmie udział w konferencji pt. „The ageing genome: from mechanisms to disease” odbywającej się w Heidelberg (Niemcy), na której przedstawi prezentację zatytułowaną „Extracellular RNA as a damage-associated molecular pattern (DAMP) in chemotherapy-induced senescent osteosarcoma cells with DNMT2/TRDMT1 gene knockout „

Pani mgr inż. Gabriela Betlej obecnie realizuje pracę doktorską w Instytucie Biotechnologii pod kierownictwem naukowym dr hab. Macieja Wnuka, prof. UR oraz dr Iwony Rzeszutek zatytułowaną „Rola metylotransferazy TRDMT1 w adaptacyjnych odpowiedziach na etopozyd komórkowych modeli kostniakomięsaka”.  

Gabriela Betlej, M.Sc. has received a conference grant funded by the joint program of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) and EMBO. The main goal of the program is to help young scientists develop their research, promote the exchange of scientific information and build a research environment in which scientists can achieve the best results.

Ms. Gabriela Betlej, M.Sc., within the framework of the grant received, will participate in the conference entitled. "The aging genome: from mechanisms to disease" taking place in Heidelberg, Germany, where she will give a presentation entitled "Extracellular RNA as a damage-associated molecular pattern (DAMP) in chemotherapy-induced senescent osteosarcoma cells with DNMT2/TRDMT1 gene knockout ".

Ms. Gabriela Betlej, M.Sc. is currently pursuing her Ph.D. dissertation at the Institute of Biotechnology under the scientific direction of Dr. Maciej Wnuk, Prof. UR and Dr. Iwona Rzeszutek entitled "The role of TRDMT1 methyltransferase in adaptive responses to etoposide of  osteosarcoma cellular models ."
