Przedmiotem wynalazku jest wyrób pigmentowy na bazie ekstraktu Serratia marcescens zastosowany jako materiał plastyczno-artystyczny do bezpośredniego nanoszenia na papier, włókno oraz drewno.

Zaletą wynalazku zgodnie z opisem przedmiotu wynalazku jest możliwość modyfikacji właściwości barwy tak otrzymanego wyrobu pigmentowego poprzez zmianę pH roztworu w zakresie pH 2 do pH 9 i dodatkowo poprzez zmianę koncentracji pigmentu w połączeniu z powszechnie stosowanymi rozpuszczalnikami organicznymi. Otrzymany roztwór nadaje się do bezpośredniego zastosowania na suchą powierzchnię typu papier, płótno oraz drewno.

The Patent Office of the Republic of Poland has granted a patent for an invention created as part of a collaboration between the UR Institute of Biotechnology and the UR Institute of Fine Arts.

The object of the invention is a pigment product based on Serratia marcescens extract used as a plastic-art material for direct application to paper, fiber and wood.

The advantage of the invention according to the description of the object of the invention is that the color properties of the pigment product so obtained can be modified by changing the pH of the solution in the range of pH 2 to pH 9 and, in addition, by changing the concentration of the pigment in combination with commonly used organic solvents. The resulting solution is suitable for direct application to dry surfaces such as paper, canvas and wood.
