Projekt MSCA4Ukraine jest częścią działań Komisji Europejskiej w ramach programu "Maria Skłodowska-Curie" (MSCA), który jest integralną częścią programu Horyzont Europa. Celem programu jest wspieranie badań naukowych oraz rozwijanie międzynarodowej współpracy w dziedzinie nauki i technologii. Realizacja projektu pozwoli naukowcom z Ukrainy kontynuować swoje prace naukowe na uczelniach i instytucjach badawczych w krajach europejskich.

Program MSCA4Ukraine Komisji Europejskiej jest realizowany przez konsorcjum składające się z Scholars at Risk Europe z Maynooth University w Irlandii (koordynator projektu), niemieckiej Fundacji Alexandra von Humboldta i Europejskiego Stowarzyszenia Uniwersytetów, z francuskim narodowym programem PAUSE, którego gospodarzem jest Collège de France i globalna sieć Scholars at Risk.

Realizacja projektu przyniesie wiele korzyści zarówno dla naukowców z Ukrainy, którzy będą mieli szansę na kontynuację swojej kariery naukowej w renomowanych europejskich instytucjach, jak również dla Instytutu Biotechnologii Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego, który będzie mógł poszerzyć swoje badania i współpracę międzynarodową. MSCA4Ukraine jest kolejnym krokiem w budowaniu mostów naukowych i wzmocnieniu współpracy naukowej między Ukrainą a Unią Europejską, co przyczyni się do wzrostu innowacyjności i rozwoju w obu regionach.

W ramach projektu pt.: "Genetic control of lignocellulosic sugar transport and metabolism during alcoholic fermentation of the thermotolerant yeast Ogataea polymorpha” badania pod opieką Pani dr hab. Justyny Ruchały, prof. UR realizować będzie post-doc z Instytutu Biologii Komórki NAN Ukrainy we Lwowie dr Roksolana Vasylyshyn. Menadżerem projektu jest mgr Dominik Wojdyła.

We are glad to announce that the Institute of Biotechnology of the University of Rzeszow will lead the MSCA4Ukraine project.
The MSCA4Ukraine project is part of the European Commission's activities under the Maria Skłodowska-Curie (MSCA) program, which is an integral part of Horizon Europe. The aim of the program is to support scientific research and develop international cooperation in science and technology. The project implementation will allow scientists from Ukraine to continue their scientific work at universities and research institutions in European countries.

The European Commission's MSCA4Ukraine program is implemented by a consortium consisting of Scholars at Risk Europe from Maynooth University in Ireland (the project coordinator), the German Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and the European University Association, with the French national program PAUSE hosted by the Collège de France and the global Scholars at Risk network.

The implementation of the project will bring many benefits both for Ukrainian scientists, who will have the chance to continue their scientific careers at renowned European institutions, and for the Institute of Biotechnology at the University of Rzeszow, which will be able to expand its research and international cooperation. MSCA4Ukraine is another step in building scientific bridges and strengthening scientific cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union, which will contribute to innovation and development in both regions.

Within the framework of the project entitled: "Genetic control of lignocellulosic sugar transport and metabolism during alcoholic fermentation of the thermotolerant yeast Ogataea polymorpha," research under the supervision of  Prof Justyna Ruchała (Ph.D. D. Sc),  will be carried out by a post-doc from the NAN Institute of Cell Biology of Ukraine in Lviv, Dr. Roksolana Vasylyshyn. The project manager is Dominik Wojdyla, M.Sc.
