SHORT BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE Olexandr Korchynskyi is an Associate Professor at the Department of Immunology, Medical Faculty, and the Centre for Innovative Research in Medical and Natural Sciences and Institute for Experimental Medicine, Rzeszow University (Poland) since 2016. He received his PhD in Biochemistry in 1993. He received an extensive training at the field of cell signaling, cell and molecular biology and immunology from several renowned European institutions: Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, Uppsala, Sweden, Netherlands Cancer Institute, Amsterdam and Leiden Universities, The Netherlands. During 2002-2007 Dr Korchynskyi was trained at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC, University of California at San Diego, CA and Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA, U.S.A. Olexandr Korchynskyi authored and co-authored over 40 scientific papers, including work published in Nature and Science that scored over 3000 citations.
