Informacje

I graduated in sociology (2006) and art education (2009). In 2015 I received a Ph.D. degree in Sociology. My research interests cover the field of the sociology of culture and qualitative research methodology. I studied the community (fandom) of Polish role-playing game fans, the problem of globalisation in peripheral museums of Poland and Slovakia, and the role of cultural heritage in the development of local communities. Currently, I focus on the topic of the former borderland between Austrian Galicia and the Russian Empire and its influence on today local communities. I am an active member of the Polish Sociological Association, a member of the board of Sociology of Arts Section and Qualitative Methods and Symbolic Interactionism Section, as well as the Secretary General of Polish Association of Cultural Studies.
