Informacje

I studied Chemical Technology at University of Technology in Rzeszow, Poland. I obtained my doctorate of agronomy in 2006 and habilitation in 2016. From 2007 to 2017 I was the head of Laboratory of Pesticide Residue Analysis in Rzeszow. Since 2017 I work as a professor (associate) at University of Rzeszow at Institute of Biotechnology.

I am an author or co-author of 44 papers published in international peer-reviewed journals with impact factor and over one hundred papers in Polish journals. I was participant in numerous national research programs funded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development: “The study of pesticide residues in agricultural crops collected from places of their production and water utilized for economic purposes under a national control program”, “Monitoring of pesticide residues in feed materials of vegetable origin”, “Conducting analysis of pesticide residues in agricultural crops, plant foods and feed derived from organic production”, ”Investigation on pesticides’ residues in agricultural products”. I was also participant of research programs co-funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education: “Research on the disappearance of some fungicides in greenhouse tomatoes”, “Research on the disappearance of currently used fungicides as part of integrated pest management of greenhouse tomato against fungal diseases”, “Determination of factors effecting on quality of raw materials obtained by integrated methods, destined for production of baby food”, “Optimization, validation and uncertainty estimation of multiresidue QuEChERS method for the determination of pesticide residues by GC-ECD / NPD with particular emphasis on herbal raw materials”, "Pesticide residues in raw materials for the production of foods for infants and young children”.

Now I deal with biodegradation of pesticides and other chemical pollutants in soil samples. I work mainly with gas chromatography triple quadrupole tandem spectrometry technique. I am interested in advanced analytical techniques.
