Dear Colleagues;
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are very pleased to invite you at the forthcoming International Conference “Biomedical theories of aging. In memory of Prof. Tomasz Biliński“ - http://www.biomedicaltheoriesofaging.ur.edu.pl
The program has been developed around the theme of "Biomedical theories of aging". Theories of aging can be divided into two categories: those that answer the question “Why do we age?” and those that address the question “How do we age?”. The focus of this conference will be the fundamental processes and pathways of aging emerging from studies of model organisms, how these concepts advance our understanding of human aging and age associated diseases, and how this knowledge can be translated into interventions to ameliorate the functional decline with age. The conference will be dedicated to the memory of Prof. Tomasz Biliński (1938-2016) who concentrated the research of his team in Rzeszów on the problem of yeast aging and formulated the theory of hypertrophy primarily for the aging of yeast.
We hope that the Conference will be a great scientific success and an enjoyable experience for all the participants. We are also sure that the Conference will offer the opportunity for fruitful discussions and give the possibility to initiate new collaborations.
Best wishes,
Izabela Sadowska-Bartosz & Grzegorz Bartosz
