Zatrudniony na stanowisku profesora UR w Instytucie Nauk Fizycznych.
Zainteresowania koncentrują się na wykorzystaniu spektroskopii FTiR, Ramana i FEWS (ang. fiber evanescence wave spectroscopy) do:
- badań widm fononowych w półprzewodnikowych strukturach założonych AxB1-xZ, AxByC1-x-yZ, a także odziaływania elektron-fonon w strukturach w których występuje tzw. punkt Diraca (izolatory topologiczne);
- badań struktur niskowymiarowych;
- badań onkologicznych oraz chorób rzadkich (genetycznych) z zakresu podczerwieni w diagnostyce medycznej i ocenie procesu leczenia;
- badań wybranych materiałów szklistych i ceramicznych.
Professor at Institute of Physics. My scientific interests focus on the use of FTIR, Raman and FEWS (fiber evanescence wave spectroscopy) spectroscopy for:
- studies of phonon spectra for AxB1-xZ, AxByC1-x-yZ semiconductor structures and electron-phonon interactions in structures with the so-called Dirac point (topological insulators);
- studies of low-dimensional structures;
- studies of oncological and rare (genetic) diseases in the infrared range for medical diagnostics and assessment of the treatment process;
- studies of selected glass and ceramic materials.
